Last week the grades K through 3 went to see the Hawaii Theater
for Youth production of “Aladdin’s Luck”. Its seems the
students liked the sword fight the best with the princess as the
favorite character. Also in theater our own Michael Pa’ekukui,
seventh grade teacher, is starring as Fagin in the musical
“Oliver” which opened 4 September and will run for two more
weekends at the Army Community Theater, Fort Shafter. Also this
week the fifth grade class will be experiencing the beauty and
wonders of God's creation by taking a field trip to the Foster
Botanical Gardens. They will participate in an interactive
program where the students will have a hands-on learning
experience about the many varieties, classifications, and uses
of plants native to the Hawaiian Islands.
