Aloha, Fr. Jim…
Today we bid a fond farewell to Fr. Jim Danner, who has been
living with us and so extremely helpful in liturgical and
extra-liturgical coverage over these past months.
Happily, he will return in three months, following a
“Vatican II update and refresher” course in Rome for priests.
He has become a trusted friend and his absence will be
felt. Through the
wonder of e-mail, we’ll be able to maintain some connection even
while he is so far away.
Jim, we’ll be counting the days ‘til your return!
Catholic University Collection…
Sunday, September 5th we will take up the required annual
Diocesan Second Collection for the Catholic University of
America in Washington, D.C.
